Tripura Fire Service M.T. Workshop

Tripura Fire Service continues to maintain workshop under the charge of Maintenance Superintendent, for repairs and maintenance of all the vehicles on the fleet of Tripura Fire Service. A Central Workshop is located at Badharghat, Agartala for repairing of Fire appliances of West Division and major repairing & overhauling of Engine, structural repairing of body, replacement of Water Tank etc. A Divisional Workshop is located at Udaipur & Kailasahar under supervision of Assistant Foreman, for minor repairing of Fire appliances of South & North Divisional Fire Stations.

Training School/Centre

A training school is located at Fire Service Complex, Badharghat, Agartala under the control of Station Officer. Preliminary training is provided to the newly recruited Fireman & Driver. A proposal for full-fledged training   school is under consideration by the Govt.

Wireless Communication Section

Located at Fire Service Complex, Badharghat, headed by a Sub-Officer, the section is providing the complete backup for up gradation and maintain of the wireless communication network of Tripura Fire Service that comprises of static sets at the fire stations and mobile sets on the fire fighting and specialized appliances.

General Store

The General Store was functioning under the control of Station Officer with staff of stores. The procurements for clothing, equipment and other miscellaneous items required for maintaining the day-to-day working of fire stations.

Fire Report Section

Located at  Fire Service Headquarters, headed by a Divisional Fire Officer(West), the fire report section is meant for keeping records of all the emergency calls that are received by the Tripura Fire Service.

Welfare & Recreation Activities

The recreational facilities continued to be available at each fire station during the year under report. The television and indoor games were enjoyed by the employed by the employees of this Service during their stand-by duties.
